New Design Trends and Ideas from Milan

One Designer's View Behind Form and Function in Interior Design

I recently attended the Salone Internazionale Del Mobile in Milan.  While roaming the masses of exhibits, I came across a group of students from the Faculty of Design and Art from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano

I had an instant affinity with these students and their designs.  They presented  a new concept at this year's Milan fair called   “FUCINA:  We Design, We Produce”, as described in this post by  Dexigner.com

The FUCINA project is a series of thoughtful products for the home, office or personal accessories.

They are intended to serve as functional additions to everyday life to make our daily activities flow just a little more easily, smoothly and efficiently. It’s all practical, fun and clever as hell.

They have thought about form, function and fun in equal balance.  Now, that’s a good day’s work.
